Conference System
The Conference System is a bespoke PHP content management system developed for use within Sheffield Hallam University. The coding behind the system enables the files to be transferred to another server to quickly create a new conference website.
The system enables faculties to quickly and easily setup a conference website with no programming knowledge using the back-end admin panel.
The last couple of years have seen a significant improvement in the administration of the system. The features are listed below:
- E-mail individual participants or mass message the whole list.
- Add, edit or delete participants.
- Add, edit or delete sessions.
- Edit page content for each page.

- Re-arrange the sessions using AJAX.
- Attach a resource file to each session (Downloadable file such as information.pdf).
- Advanced reports (Export all aspects of the stored data to CSV file).
- Main conference admin (Conference name, Banner image, Session times etc..).
- Ability to clear stored data (For new conference).
