PRD Wizard

PRD WizardThe PRD Wizard is an application created for Sheffield Hallam University staff which handles the input of data into a Project Registry Document  effortlessly. The Wizard enables the user to browse through a series of three sections, each covering the three main sections of the document.

The main advantages of using the wizard over manually entering the information are:

  • The straight forward user interface allows for time to be saved editing a complicated document.
  • The input fields will only allow the required data type (Letters, Numbers, Both).
  • Date ranges can be easily selected and verified saving time and effort.
  • The in-built help system provides all the information the user requires about each input field.
  • Reduces the risk of mistakes and the need to format the document.
  • Can be easily printed using the Print menu.

PRD PrintThe PRD Wizard was developed using Visual Basic and automates actions for Microsoft Word. I have also developed a Module Wizard which is a more complex interface for multiple Microsoft Word documents.
